Illustrated by Kara Memi with a study by Prof. Nurhan Atasoy studying the art of Kara Memi both in Turkish (375 p.) and English (98 p.) “Muhibbi” was the penname of Sultan soliman the Magnificient (1520-1566). His poems were first published by his daughter Adile Sultan (1890-1891) in Istanbul. This divan was first printed in Latinized version in 1980. The Illustrator Kara Memi lived in the time of Soliman the Magnificient. 7 kg.
